MATH 4208: Introduction to number theory
This course is an introduction to algebraic number theory. Contents include number fields, algebraic integers, Dedekind rings, class groups, units, binary quadratic forms, Galois theory, reciprocity laws, and analytic methods.
Prerequisites: parts of the first semester advanced algebra course, and parts of the L3 second semester algebra course
